About Palakkad Counselling
Palakkad Counselling is a coaching and mediation centre in Manapullikavu, Palakkad, Kerala, founded by Prof. Dr. Regunath Parakkal, and the coaching and mediation practice of the Palakkad Counselling and Life Skill Management Institute (PCLSMI™). Built on 40+ years of family guidance and 17,000+ awareness sessions, it offers life, relationship, family, career and parenting coaching and family mediation, in person, online and by phone, in Malayalam, English, Tamil and Hindi.
Our Story
Palakkad Counselling grew from the community work of its founder, Prof. Dr. Regunath Parakkal. He spent over four decades supporting families, young people and communities through schools, the Kerala Police Women Cell, the Kerala State Legal Services Authority (Adalath) and many social initiatives.
Today, the centre operates as an organisation with a team of visiting professionals, making quality emotional and family support accessible, ethical and stigma-free.

How We Work
We match you with the right professional
After a short first conversation, we suggest the professional best suited to your situation. That may be our founder or one of our visiting psychologists and social workers.
Confidentiality comes first
What you share stays with us, except where there is a risk of serious harm to yourself or others, or where disclosure is required by law.
We know our boundaries
We provide coaching and mediation. When someone needs medical or psychiatric care, we refer them to trusted hospitals and specialists.
We meet you where you are
Sessions run in person in Palakkad, online by video, or by phone, in Malayalam, English, Tamil and Hindi. All sessions are by prior appointment.
